We are Luca and Alex, two brothers who have reached the third generation of cattle breeding in Pinasca, in Val Chisone.
Since the beginning of the 90s we have been breeding cattle of the Sprinzen Pustertaler breed, known in the Piedmontese valleys as "Barà Pustertaler".
A dual purpose breed that goes well with the characteristics of our territory due to its robustness.
Starting from 2018 we decide to expand the herd with Highland cattle originating in Scotland. Also a very robust breed, it is characterized by its long and thick hair which makes it particularly robust in the most adverse climatic conditions. In collaboration with our company veterinarian, we have decided to embark on a path that has led us to select our best donors and our best breeding males for the procreation of live embryos. Our goals are:
The protection and safeguarding of our genetic heritage;
Making our embryos available to as many breeders as possible to enrich their genetic heritage faster without having to replace the reproductive male numerous times;
Giving those who do not have mares registered as a breed the possibility of obtaining calves that can be registered in the herd register quickly and easily.
