We are Luca and Alex, two brothers who have reached the third generation of cattle breeding in Pinasca, in Val Chisone.

Since the early 90s we have been breeding Sprinzen Pustertaler cattle, known in the Piedmont valleys as “Barà Pustertaler”.

Dual purpose breed that fits well with the characteristics of our territory due to its robustness.

Starting from 2018 we decided to expand the herd with Highland cattle originally from Scotland. This breed is also very robust and is characterized by its long and thick fur that makes it particularly robust in the most adverse weather conditions. In collaboration with our company veterinarian we decided to undertake a path that led us to select our best donors and our best breeding males for the procreation of live embryos. Our objectives are:

The protection and safeguarding of our genetic heritage;

Making our embryos available to as many breeders as possible to enrich their genetic heritage more quickly without having to replace the breeding male numerous times;

To give those who do not have mares registered as a breed the opportunity to obtain calves that can be registered in the studbook more easily and quickly.
